DESCRIPTION
OF ROTARY KILN
Today, due to optimization of precalciner systems, so called short kilns
are adequately dimensioned for cement plants. Kiln Supporting system is
basically 3 supports system, but 2 supports system is applicable for short
kiln.
The kiln shell is supported in tires and rollers and driven via girth gear
and pinion system. The kiln is completed by inlet and outlet seals,
hydraulic axial thrust system (Movable thruster) and air cooling system. All
these components of the kiln are manufactured and supplied by Gears India to
assure high operating reliability and kiln availability.
Rotary Kilns components are tailor made in different sizes depending on
individual requirement.
Application
Girth gear & Pinion systems, tyres & rollers which are an important
part of the Kiln are used in various relevant industries producing zinc
oxide, titanium dioxide, kaolin, lithopone, gypsum and other chemical and
metallurgical products. The reliable parts result in durable service, high
